Wet-N-Wild

Jearel's niece, Victoria (12 years old), and nephew, Landen (7 years old), were in town for a visit, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Riley. We didn't get to spend much time with them, as they were off taking other trips (to Mexico and camping). However, Jayla and I got to squeeze in one fun filled day, starting with Wet-N-Wild, and ending with Johnny Rockets.

I've been dying to check the new water park since last summer, but heard that the baby area was removed, and there wasn't much for Jayla to do (she was only 1 then). Grandma Riley being my motivation this summer, and the fact that I convinced Camille and Avery to join us, off we went. There really is not much to do, even for a 2 year old. The kids play area is still a bit overwhelming, even though Jayla met the height requirements for the slides (in this kid area), it can be a bit scary for them. There is also a little splash pad area, but it did not seem to entertain Avery or Jayla, like we hoped it would. So we resorted to spending most of the day in the wave pool. They require kids put on a life jacket under a certain (?) age. However, Camille and I cheated, and tried to let the girls have fun, with out being choked by an over-sized life jacket. Besides, it is not like Avery needs one, she is quite the little swimmer... SERIOUSLY! She had heads turning, in awe, at how good she was, even I could not take my eyes off of her. *Camille needs to get this on video and share it with everyone (hint-hint)* We ended up having a really fun, long day, and left with a really nice tan. Jayla and I can't wait to go back.

It was so good to see you both. We had so much fun in the little time we had. We are already missing you, and can't wait till the next visit.
We love you guys.

You guys & Johnny Rockets- you're just like Gramma Mare! Every time she has Camden, they go there....guess I need to take a hint & get in on that action!
I like how their splash pad area is shaded like that, & glad you guys found the wave pool to keep the kiddos entertained. I LOVED water parks growing up (well, I still do), & it will be fun to bring the kids when they're older too!
I cracked up at Jay's SASSY face! She is the cutest blondie ever!
