Friday Fun Day

Get ready for the longest post of your life. Friday was full of so much fun that there was a ton to share.

First we started the day off by meeting Jenni and Lola at The Little Gym. Jenni already takes Kyan there, but she wanted to give Lola a trial class before signing her up. I have been thinking of take Jay to something like this for awhile. It is a bit pricey, but since Jay doesn't get much interaction with other babies, I thought this would be great for her.

Here they go!!! The class was so cute, even better than I imagined. Jayla had a hard time following directions. I guess there is something to be said for day care because Lola did such a great job. I was a little embarrassed by Jay's lack of attention to us. She did come around half way through the class. We are signing her up right after vacation. I hope with the repetitiveness she will learn to sit still. HA!

to put them away!! Warning to all parents, I have a pincher and a ball fighter.

The Little Gym even offers, cheer leading classes &

dance classes when the girls turn 3. I can't wait!!

Next we went to the water park out in Estrella. Thanks to Jenni's parents for buying a house out there, we get to enjoy the fun water park. It is so beautiful and peaceful in Estrella. If it wasn't so far I would move there in a heartbeat. I will definitely be joining the Roseland and Divis gang more often.

They make you double diaper (little swimmer and a washable swim diaper). I couldn't stop laughing at their big padded booties.

I love seeing Kyan and Lo together. Kyan is such a patient big brother and Lo lights up every time she sees him.

I tortured Jayla down the slide. It was actually pretty fun. She didn't seem to mind until we got to the bottom.

I am thinking she was mad the fun came to an end.

Some how Aunti Jenni can get Jay to smile for the camera. Thanks Jenni :). I LOVE this one.

Lola finally warmed up to the water after a few trips (I hear). Maybe it took a little encouragement from her best friend Jay.

Jenni decided to torture Lo down the slide as well.

She did good. Maybe next time the girls will be dragging us down it, instead of us dragging them!


~Thank you Jenni for always thinking of us. You seem to know how to keep the kiddos busy with the best activities. We had the best time on Friday. Next up-CALI BABY!! I can't believe it is almost finally here.~

Celebrating 3 Years Our Style

For the past 3 years Jearel asks to take me somewhere nice on our anniversary. It was no surprise to him when I said NO. I told him I wanted to go to our neighborhood sports bar (Sammy's Sports Bar and Grill) to play pool, drink some beer, and enjoy their AWESOME food. This is totally our style of a GREAT night out. It must be the west side girl in me, but I would much rather let loose and have a BLAST, than to feel all up tight at a fancy pants kind of place. No offence to those of you who enjoy this. We had so much fun playing pool, big buck hunter, and our favorite songs on the jukebox. Some guy hogged the touch screen game all night and the dart board was broken, this was the only bummer. Our plans were to go bowling too, but we just couldn't leave.

I was trying to kick my husband's butt at pool. I only won one game after he shot the eight ball in. HA!!

Happy Anniversary to Us

Today marks a special day for Jearel and I, not only is this our 3 year anniversary, but it also was the day we conceived Jayla, 2 years ago. I'm sure most of you know we are trying for baby # 2, so here's to hoping today is the lucky day.

We didn't have this blog 3 years ago, so I wanted to share in the memories of our wedding day.

Our rehearsal dinner was on a party boat. We had bag pipe players, belly dancers and a little dancing from all of us.

The margarita's and beers kept flowing all night long.

FOUR HOUR NAP

Yesterday Jayla took a 4 hour nap. I am lucky if she sleeps for 1 hour (only 1 nap a day). The longest nap she ever took was 2 hours and that has only happened twice. So this was a big shock to us. Normally I would have totally enjoyed this, unfortunately we had so many errands to run, so mean mommy had to disrupt her precious nap. It took me 20 minutes to wake her. I wonder how long she would have slept if I just left her alone?! Here's to hoping the good sleep FINALLY continues!!
