Phoenix Zoo

Last week Jayla and I headed over to the Phoenix Zoo to meet an old friend of mine and her two kids. Shana and I lost touch after high school, but thanks to facebook we have been able to re-connect. We've chatted a few times on the phone, shared several of emails, and then FINALLY we were able to get together. Jayla had a great time meeting new friends and of course we all had a blast at the zoo.

Jayla patiently waiting for our friends to arrive!!

They had the CUTEST little play area for kids (it was made up of the "little people", only life sized)
Jayla kept giving the "moo cow" kisses!
She decided she wanted to ride the "moo cow"
Nason (Shana's boy) was trying to get Jayla to smile for the pictures.
These monkeys were crazy. They were the LOUDEST animals I have ever heard.
Nason trying to be a turtle
Jayla and Rylie (Shana's little girl) playing
~I LOVE THIS FACE~
Rylie, not so happy :(
"RAFS", Jayla's favorite

Jayla loved the "pink birdies"
Shana and her adorable kiddos
Me and my little love
~Shana, thank you soooo much for inviting us out to spend the day with you. Jayla and I had a lot of fun and probably would have NEVER picked the Phoenix Zoo to go to. You know I am a bigger fan to the Wildlife World Zoo. You will have to make the long drive over to go with us next time. I think you will love it!!! I can't wait for our next get together. We love you!!~

I know I always say it, but I love Jayla's single pony- makes her look like such a pretty & big girl!

Hope I can find a way to see you soon (WAYYY overdue lunch)- sorry, things just don't feel totally normal yet, and I feel like I'm spinning my wheels at work. Let's catch up soon!
